Samsung BD P4600 - Samsung Blu-ray Players
The USP (Unique Selling Point) of this model is Samsung's tried and tested technology housed in a very good looking wall mountable player. As it is wall mountable it also comes Wifi ready, but that doesn't mean that you have to go down that road, but it is good that the option is there.
It comes with 1GB memory which is about right for the price range, and decreases the likelihood of most potential viewing problems (not that we've heard of any from this particular model). There are two USB ports for increased cross-functionality, and HDMI comes as standard.
It has PC connected function which is strangely absent from many models, so it appears that Samsung have done their market research there and decided that's what some people want, and again, even if you don't, it's nice to have the option.
BD Live is supported if you want to access the internet as well as watch great films in marvelous colour and cinema experience sound. It's not the cheapest in the range, but customer feedback to date has been extremely positive, and that is probably the best recommendation a Blu-ray player can have.

Samsung BD P4600 - Review
I bought this for my Husband for his 30th Birhtday. To be honest I had no idea what to buy, this one won mainly by looks and the fact it matched the telly (what can I say !!) and was wall mountable, we have had to replace either a T.V. or D.V.D player with each of our 3 boys so the option to put the DVD player way out of arms reach with the TV was a huge advantage - this should ensure a longer life span of our equipment and our DVD's !!
I was nearly put off by a couple of negative reviews including one person having to send it back (we are in Ireland so that would have been a nightmare) and about the noise of it. But we have had no problem and have not noticed any noise at all from it. Anne McCartney (Dublin)
