Not so with the Bush, from a software and hardware perspective everything appears to be in order - this budget Blu-ray player has got all the essentials neatly packaged in a nice slim unit.

It supports a wider array of formats than most people would ever need, including; CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R DL, Blu-ray, DVD-R DL, BD-RE SL, BD-RE DL, BD-R SL and BD-R DL. The player is also compatible with a range of digital formats including DivX, MP3, MPEG-2, WMA, MPEG-4, AVI and JPEG. The box includes the following connectors; 1 stereo audio, 1 composite video, 1 component video, 1 digital optical audio, 1 digital coaxial audio and 1 HDMI.

Picture quality is matched by HD sound quality, and the set-up menu is straightforward so it's a short time from opening the box to watching your first Blu-ray film. The only drawback is the 50 GB storage, but at this price that is to be expected. Of course the player comes with a remote, and at this price, with a manufacturers warranty the model is definitely going to get a bit of interest.
